Swift® is a new technology, developed in the UK, which has been licensed for the general treatment of skin lesions in Podiatry and Dermatology.

 

Swift® uses microwave energy, delivered in precise doses through a probe applied to the skin, to treat the infected tissue.

 

Microwaves travel quickly into the tissue causing localized heating and cell destruction to a pre-determined depth.  The healing cascade begins immediately and treated tissue is quickly replaced repaired and regenerated.
